Abstract
The rules of basketball are normative criteria for basketball competitions,which is the impact of basketball development.Through literature review and logic analysis,the authors have analyzed the 2008 amendments of the international basketball rules.After study,it is learned that the amendments of the rules made the competition more standardized and reasonable and the offensive and defensive more balanced,whichare beneficial for the development of basketball.In order to match the implementation and execution of the new rules better,it is proposed basketball referees need to understand deeply in the theory and practice of the new rules,to enhance the study of theories,improve the ability to control the competitions,masterrules of referee and reserve energy in practice,in order to quickly adapt to the new rules.
