Conformance Test and Interoperability Test for Fieldbus

This paper first introduces some basic concepts and procedures of conformance test with reference to ISO9646, and analyzes some of its defects and shortcomings. Then itintroduces and analyzes the concept, classification and testing method of interoperability. It also compares interoperability test with conformance test Accordingly, interoperability test can be better understood on the basis of understanding of conformance test.
