Structure Perspective Discourse Ethics:Narrative Art in Miguel Street

This paper,with narratology as its basic theory,is trying to make a study of the narrative art in V.S.Naipaul's Miguel Street.The analyses are from four aspects:narrative structure and methods,narrative perspective,narrative discourse and narrative ethics.Through the analysis,the readers can see that besides the novel new and peculiar content,the unique narrative technique is also one of the factors that make Naipaul's Miguel Stree tshow the presence of suppressed histories.
