Abstract
n-Butyraldehyde glycol acetal was synthesized from n-butyraldehyde(Ⅱ)and glycol as raw materials in the presence of SO~(2-)_4/TiO_2-La_2O_3 as catalyst.Factors influencing the product yield were discussed and optium reaction conditions were found.Experimental results showed that SO~(2-)_4/TiO_2-La_2O_3 is an excellent catalyst. With molar ratio of n-butyraldehyde to glycol =1.0∶1.5,catalyst dosage=0.50 %(mass ratio of catalyst to total reactants),using cyclohexane as water carrier and reaction time 1.0 h,the yield of the product achieves 95.3 %.
