The general formula, which is based on the force method and the basic structure of the simply supported beam, about the bending moment of fixed-ends beam is deduced by the area and the center position of the bending moment diagram of a simply supported beam. The applications of the formula in the other kinds of one span statically indeterminate beam are represented.
