The diagnostic value on postmenopausal bleeding under the assistance of hysteroscope

Objective:To study the cause of the postmenopausal bleeding.Methods:178 patients with postmenopausal bleeding were analysed retrospectively,and the method of the hysteroscopy combined with pathohistology was adopted.Results:The results of the examination of hysteroscopy combined with pathology showed that the benign pathological change of endometrium was the main reason orousing the postmenopausal bleeding,accountint for 95.6%,and the next was the carcinoma of endometrium.The menopause year and the time of vaginal bleeding had significant difference from the malignant tumor (P0.05).The diagnostic rate of hysteroscopy accorded with pathological examination was 86.6%.Conclusion:Uterine curettage assisted by hysteroscope can find the reason of pastmenopause bleeding,diagnose and prevent the occurrence of endometrial carcinoma.It is the gynecologial examination method which can not be substituted in the diagnosis and treatment of intrauterine pathological changes at the present time.
