Abstract

Marx and Engels had made many ideas about the essence of ideology in German Ideology and their other papers.Works about criticism on false consciousness,economic and class nature of ideology,and commodity fetishism all reflect their understanding on the nature of ideology,which is important to the ideology construction of the party in power.We should insist on the correct guiding thought and political standpoint,consciously strengthen the ideological leadership,and dispel the western social thoughts.
