Abstract

The heat transfer principle is very complicated in continious rolling reheating furnace and its designing commonly depends on the experience.The performance of the designed furnace is not reliable for the engineers.The thermal status model is established according to a certain walking beam reheating industrial furnace and the flow field,combustion and heat transfer condition in the furnace are simulated.The numerical simulation results have little error according to the industry measurement of the furnace.The investigation results can provide the reference for the design,operation and reform of the industry reheating furnace.
