Abstract
As mental pollution sources of coastal city,the coastal highway runoff gets the domestics and foreign attention.Sampling and monitoring of rainfall-runoff events from Qingyin Highway in Qingdao were conducted to measure the concentrations of the metals.Results showed that all indices of water quality of Qingdao Highway runoff already reached standard-V of Environmental Quality Standard for surface water.There was higher concentration of pollutant in initial highway runoff.With rainfall intensity strengthen instantly,second flush effect appeared.Correlation analysis and principal component analysis of the pollution indices in highway runoff suggested that Cr,Cu,Zn,and Cd were mainly from atmospheric deposition,the resources of Hg,Pb were road traffic pollution.
