On the Difference of the Two Chengs' Research on Mengzi

Abstract

The position of Mengzi and his works rose during The Song Dynasty for their great contribution to the research on MENGZI.The two Chengs studied the mind;personality; rationality and emotion in MENGZI,and they recognized the position of Mengzi in the Confucianism,but they have different interpretation and research field.In a word,they estab lished a theoretical system and solid foundation for Confucianism.
