A Brief Analysis on the Elegy in the Song Dynasty

Elegy,a special genre of literature in Song Dynasty,plays an important role in the history of Song Poetry. The previous studies lay much emphasis on the analysis and comparison of certain poems, while quite a few of experts utilize a systematic and panoramic method. This thesis will classify the elegy in Song Dynasty in a comprehensive and systematic way and draw out the major common characteristics. What's more,this thesis will explore the life consciousness of Song people on the basis of Song's history background and social environment.
