Abstract
The stability of the deep foundation ditch under railway or highway is quite different from that of others. The foundation ditch of Humin Road overpass, in South Shanghai Station, is monitored during the frame -jacking project. Variation of water level, settlement of underground pipeline, alteration of strut force and land movement in surrounding region are analyzed. The result is useful to some foundation ditch - maintaining projects which traverse railway or highway,so to the encolsing structure of the deep foundation ditch, serving as perpetual wall structure under Huhang Railway.
