Study of protection of Lansoprazole to acute injury of gastric mucosal lesion in rats caused by alcohol

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the protection of Lansoprazole to acute injury of gastric mucosal lesion in rats caused by alcohol. Methods: Rats were randomly divided into normal control group, model control group, Lansoprazole group and Omeprazole group, acute injury of gastric mucosal lesion in rata was caused by absolute alcohol, gastric mucosal blood flow (GMBF), transmembrane potential (PD), gastric mucosal damage index (UI), prostaglandin E2 and thromboxan B2 were mea- sured, pathological change was observed by light microscope. Results: GMBF, PD and PGE2 in Lansoprazole group were higher than those in model control group, UIandthromboxanB2inLansoprazolegroupwerelowerthanthoseinmodelcontrol group (P0.01). Conclusion: Lansoprazole may have great protection to gastric mucosa of rats, it may increase gastric mucosal blood flow by promoting the synthesis of PGE2.
