Abstract
Taking the expansive soil of Longlin-Baise speedway improved with lime as an research object,the variation of soil pressure,temperature and moisture content was studied by means of field test,and the influence depth of atmosphere under different environment temperature,moisture and loading was determined.The results reveal that with the increase of embankment height,the vertical soil pressure increases linearly;the influence depth of temperature is about 2 m;temperature changes drastically in 0.5 m above and below the surface of the soil,and there is a temperature hysteretic effect in the soil,which becomes more obvious with the increase of depth;moisture content changes little in the expansive soil improved with lime,showing that the soil has good water holding capacity.
