A Comparison of the Effects of Letrozole Versus Clomiplhene Citrate for Ovulation Induction in Patients with Ovulatory Dysfuction

Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of the letrozole in ovulation induction.Methods 80 cases of patients with infertile were divided into two groups.Group A(40 cases)took letrozole(LE).Group B(40 cases)took clomiphere citrate(CC).The endometrial thickness,number of follicles,pregnancy rates,miscarriag rates were measured.Results Endometrial thickness,pregnancy rates in group A was significantly higher than that in group B.The number of follicles and miscarriag rates of both groups were not significantly different.Conclusion LE can reduce the effect about CC anti-estrogen,improve the endometrical acceptable and pregnancy rates.
