Investigation and analysis of the status and influencing factors of nutritional status in maintenance hemodialysis patients

Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of nutritional status in maintenance hemodialysis patients,so as to provide references for improving nutritional status of those patients.Method The Subjective Global Assessment of Nutrition was adopted in 199 maintenance hemodialysis patients.Results There existed 50.25% mild malnutrition,43.72% moderate malnutrition and 4.52% severe malnutrition.The main influencing factors were age,hemodialysis time and the primary caregivers.Conclusion The nutritional status of maintenance hemodialysis patients is relatively poor.More attention should be given to aged patients and those with long hemodialysis time and lack of caring,in order to improve their nutritional status,improve their quality of life and prolong their life.
