Abstract
Urban community sports plays an important role in upgrading the developmental level of the city, strengthening its competitiveness, satisfying the diversified demands of the citizens and so on. While the status quo of Chinese community sports remains unbalance due to the disparities in the organizational system, sports cultural accomplishments of the citizens and sports infrastructure. With the progress of the society, it is shown that the future development of the urban community sports has the trends of scientification in administrative system, diversification in administrative model, socialization in running mechanism, modernization in sports facilities and so on. Based on this, some counter-measures are put forward in the end.
