Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of Ki-67 and P53 protein in high-differentiated chondrosarcoma and chondroma tissues. Methods The expression of Ki-67 and P53 protein in 38 specimens of high-differentiated chondrosarcoma and 15 specimens of chondroma were detected by SP immunohistochemistry. Results The protein levels of Ki-67 and P53 were significantly higher in high-differentiated chondrosarcoma than those of chondroma(3.56±1.23,4.21±1.52 vs 0.75±0.46,0.87±0.43,(P0.05),the Ki-67 expression was positively correlated to P53 expression(P0.05).Conclusion The expressions of Ki-67 and P53 protein are significantly higher in high-differentiated chondrosarcoma than those in chondroma,to examine the expression of Ki-67 and P53 protein may be useful to the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of high-differentiated chondrosarcoma and chondroma.
