Synthesis and Herbicidal Activities of 4,6-Dimethoxyl pyrimidine-2-yl Aryloxyacetamide

Abstract
Seven oxyacetamides have been prepared on the basis of oxyacetamide herbicides.They were synthesized by the reaction of 2-amino-4,6-dimethoxylpyrimidine with aryloxyacetic acids prepared from the phenol derivatives.Their chemical structures and purity were confirmed by IR,()~1H NMR spectra,elemental analysis and HPLC.The result of the biological tests showed that two of them have strong herbicidal activities.
