Abstract

The analysis of the objectivity of income distribution inequality and the income and wealth inequality revealed by Lorenz curve indicates that Gini coefficient compresses some of the data in income distribution inequality and loses the information for deep research on income distribution. The L-C and its corollaries can be obtained by revising Lorenz curve through probability statistics and mathematical treatment. Applying the theorem in explaining the phenomena related to income distribution inequality can contribute its forecast and control.
