Study on the Cement Slurry for Gas Wells in Block QingShen

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the requirement to the cement slurry in Qingshen gas field,a high tem- perature high toughness anti-channeling cement slurry was designed.Laboratory experiments on the prop- erties of the cement slurry and the set cement showed that this cement slurry is stable at high temperature, and the set cement is tough.Channeling of gas to the annular space during WOC was stopped in field appli- cation.
