Abstract
The effect of different genus grafting on plant growth, fruit quality, yield and water use efficiency of hydroponic tomatoes by clefting of a scion(jinpengyihao)grafted onto two rootstocks(guozhenyihao and tuolubamu)was studied. The results showed that grafting by tuolubamu reduced plant growth potential, fruit weight, yield, water use efficiency and titratable acid, but it increased the number of fruit, soluble solid and soluble sugar of fruit, improving sugar acid ratio;Grafting by guozhenyihao enhanced the weight of fruit, yield and water use efficiency,at the same time,it also decreased the souble solid、souble sugar and titratable acid. The content of VC of fruit were not significant in the grafted and nongrafted tomaoes.
