Research on the International Countermeasure of Phishing ——Based on Thinking of Jane Smith's Case

Phishing can be characterized by attackers using trusted Internet sites to lure information from unsuspecting consumers.These attacks not only impact consumers and corporations,they also are threatening Internet commerce security as a whole by destroying consumer trust in online transactions.This study demonstrates the need for an international solution to the problem through analysizing alarming increases in the number of phishing scams and substantial amount of damages.Meanwhile,this publication aims to discuss international strategies in the war against phishing,this paper points out that the fight against phishing is dependent upon cooperation in domestic and international legislation agencies,law enforcement agencies,and among the private companies and consumers that are the victims of these attacks.
