Abstract

Objective:Study median lethal dose of doxorubicin on mice with intraperitoneal injection. Methods:The approximate maximum lethal dose and minimum lethal dose was got by informal test I and II.Seventy mice were divided into seven groups randomly in informal test, with ten mice in one group,in half respectively male and female. Each mouse was injected one time with control group injected physiological saline.Etceteras dose was 13.4 mg/kg、19.2 mg/kg、27.4 mg/kg、39.2 mg/kg、56 mg/kg、80 mg/kg.Death of mice 14 days after injection was analyzed. Results: Except control group and minimum dose group(13.4 mg/kg),mice died in each group, moreover, mortality rate increased with a rise of concentrations of doxorubicin. The LD50 calculated by Bliss method was 24.941 mg/kg,the 95% confidence interval was 21.241~29.271 mg/kg.
