Abstract

This paper introduces the history and present situation of the development of honeypot,analyses the function of honeypot in the role of network security protection system,and describes the design and realization of the honeypot application DTK tool kit,as well as the current honeypot technology. The paper also presents the honeypot and honeynet for the further research and development of Internet technology direction.
