Description was made to the trend of intellectualization of low-voltage switchgear assemblies both at home and abroad, intro-ducing the basic configuration of digital monitoring system, combined with the present situation of low-voltage switchgear assemblies in China, proposal is made to the application of digital monitoring system. If the developed functional modular is designed an integrated unit with drawer, it will be easy to reform the existing low-voltage switchgear assemblies into intelligent equipment.
