Abstract
This paper designs a kind of variable speed control system of a brushless DC motor without a rotor position-sen-sor.Based on intelligent power module (IPM) PS21255 and digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320LF2407A,this system uses Back-EMF (electromotive force) method to implement the position-sensorless control for brushless DC motor. The system is high-ly integrated with flexible control and strong reliability.Experimental results indicate that this system has a high performance.
