Abstract
As a figurative language art,poetry accomplishes the aim to convery poets' ideas and feelings only by poets handling and writing realistically. Different modes of handling objects have different functions of writing realstically and poetry forms various kinds of formalities.This article analyses modes of handling and functions of writing realstically in realistic and modernistic poetry.
