Abstract

Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome is a newly discovered infectious disease, which had spread widely and caused huge loss to word pig industry. PRRSV was the major antigen of A High Fever Syndrome (HFS) in swine outbreak in 2006. The article described research progress on viral morphous and characteristics, genome structure, viral protein function, variation of genome structure, and molecular biological diagnosis.
