Abstract
Under the conditions that the lowest frequency of the substructural fixed interface boundary is higher than the fundamental frequency of the complete structure, the simplified solution of superelement method of modal synthesis for substructure dynamic characteristics calculation is extended to computaion of the substructure dynamic response, and the fixed interface Ritz Vectors are substituted for the fixed interface modes of substructure. A comparison of the numerical results indicates that the method used in this paper is effective and reasonably accurate.
