Ecological Environment and Eonomic Exploitatin in Three Gorges Reflected in the Poetry About Kuizhou Prefecture in Tang Dynasty

There were a lot of poems and songs about the Three Gorges in the Tang Dynasty. They are not only very valu- able in literature and art but also real records of the then politics and history and local conditions and customs. In addition to these, ancient animals, plants climate hydrological data natural landforms, transportation position, economy and trade in the Three Gorges in the dynasty were mentioned too. They are all precious historical materials.
