Abstract
This paper has studied the structure stress and modal analysis of three-axis table on the basis of COSMOSWorks FEA module. An optimal mathematic model, which has been built by taking the moment of inertia of frame as objective function, the structural dimensions, stress and the first inherent frequency as constrained condition, is resolved correctly by COSMOSWorks. This shape optimal design of mechanical system of table shows that FEA optimum design plays an important role in the modern mechanical design.
