Abstract
The characteristics of the pressure drop was analyzed under different inlet velocities of flue gas and the structural parameters were optimized by simulating the pressure field of shell side of radial heat pipe heat exchanger. The results show that:the pressure on windward side is higher than that of leeward side, and it falls gradually along the flow direction in linear distribution;the pressure drop in heat exchanger increases and the rise of pressure drop accelerates accordingly with the rise of the inlet velocity. The pressure drop in shell side of heat exchanger was studied by changing the structural parameters, and then the optimum structural parameters were obtained:the fin height is less than 26.5mm,the fin space is more than 6.5mm,the transverse space of heat pipes is from 108 to 111mm and the longitudinal space is from 120 to 125mm.
