Igneous Lithology Identification in Dongling Area,Songliao Basin

This paper dealt with igneous formations in Dongling area,Songliao Basin.Lithologic information from core samples,cuttings,thin section analysis was used to establish relationship between lithologic characters and log responses.Cross plots of log readings showed the difference of lithology clearly.Self-organization map were used to identify lithology of the igneous formations.Good results were archived.
