Abstract

Mineral resources security is a focus in recent research.This paper,based on the comprehensive literature review,indicates that mineral resources security involves a system of multi-dimensions,multi-levels and multi-goals.The balance between demand and supply is one of the goals.The difficulties in the research are concerned with the establishment of a scientific and workable index system of mineral resources security assessment.The framework of policies and laws needs to be constructed on the basis of security value.
