Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the performance of automatic warning information system,and to provide scientific basis for improving efficiency of communicable disease early warning in future.METHODS The descriptive analysis method was used to describe the characteristics of the data and information in the automatic warning system.RESULTS 2 559 warning signals were issued in 2010,and 3 signals were determined as outbreak,the positive rate was 0.12%;the average response time of the signal was 1.37 h(﹤2 h).Foot and mouth disease,mumps,hepatitis C,other infectious diarrhea and dysentery were the five kinds of infectious diseases had more warning information from the system by descending order.CONCLUSION The application of automatic early warning information system improves early detection and identification capabilities for infectious diseases outbreaks in our city.
