Effects of Different Safener Treatments on Nicosulfuron's Phytotoxicity of Maize

Abstract

Taking Zhengdan 958maize hybrid as trial crop,the phytotoxicity of nicosulfuron on maize and the mitigation effects of different antidotes were studied.It turned out that nicosulfuron(120g/ha)had a serious impact on corn,the plant height declined by 8.69%,and the output decreased by 11.18%.The quantitative AA,NAA,PGAE and BR could improve the inhibition of nicosulfuron on the corn growth;The NAA and DA-6could alleviate the effect of nicosulfuron on the chlorophyll content of corn;Spraying all the antidotes at early or later stage of phytotoxicity could reduce the effect of nicosulfuron on the MDA content of corn;The NPK could also alleviate the effect of nicosulfuron on the soluble sugar content of corn at the later stage of phytotoxicity.Compared with the control(120g/ha nicosulfuron,without antidotes),the yield of PGAE treatment at the later stage of phytotoxicity increased by 24.47%.By comprehensive analysis,the alleviative effect of 1.2g/ha PGAE to the nicosulfuron's phytotoxicity on maize was relatively better.
