Connotation and Present Situation of Common Spiritual Home of the Chinese Nation

The common spiritual home of the Chinese nation,in terms of its connotation,is the soul of Chinese people,the base of the nation's thriving and the support of the country's prosperity.Generally,spirit construction has been made fruitful in China but,with the rapid development of economics,the spirit construction step has legged far behind compared with economic progress.Hence,the paper contends that measures should be taken to construct the common spiritual home of the Chinese nation,which will be based on inheriting the spirit of the Chinese nation and absorbing varieties of cultures of the world.
