Abstract
The feature of the polymer geogrids and the composition of the polymer geogrid reinforced earth retaining wall are introduced. To simulate the structural mechanical characteristic of the reinforced earth retaining wall, a finite element model is developed. The model is made of soil element, reinforcement element and contact element. The reinforced earth retaining wall is calculated with the finite element model. The results manifest the finite element method is reasonable for the reinforced earth retaining wall.
