Abstract
The paper starts from the concept of water resources and the study of the present water condition. And it refers to the safe generous character in water resources ——the study on the region water resources carrying capacity. Based on summing up the research history , present situation,the connotation,the characteristics and the index system of the region water resources carrying capacity, this paper discusses the study methods and the existing problem of the carrying capacity of water resources. At last, the perspective of study on the carrying capacity of water resources is also discussed.
