Abstract
The competitive advantage of latecomer firms from China has been the focus of economic research.And it has been identified by many researchers that disruptive innovation is of great importance to the competitive advantage of latecomers firms.This paper explores the relationship of disruptive innovation and competitive advantage in the case of latecomers from the perspective of Global Value Chain and emphasizes the different roles producer services play in the process of building competitive advantage.This paper concludes with a case study from Chinese practice.
