Abstract
This paper aimed to define the scientific connotation of Chinese agricultural landscape and analyzed the features and issues and challenges of agricultural landscape under the background of new countryside construction. According to the requirements for the planning of new countryside construction and the agricultural landscape characteristics in China, this paper proposed a planning methodology of agricultural landscape at rural scale. In the planning contents, the four types of agricultural production landscape, agricultural ecological landscape, rural settlement landscape and agricultural service and facility landscape were mainly planned. At last, the overall layout maps of the agricultural landscape planning were made in the regions.
