A Study of the Development Space and Countermeasures for the Private Economy in Western China

Against the background of the development of Western China and China's accession to WTO, this paper, in accordance with the basic guidelines of China on the development of Western China, presents a deep analysis of speeding up the construction of infrastructure, building and protecting ecological environment, readjusting and optimizing industrial structure and promoting the development of science, technology and education. It also covers the post-WTO issues in national treatment, firm financing, property right protection, and strengthening management and services, and puts forward some policy suggestions about how to expand the development space for private economy in Western China.
