The Influence of Education on the Social Stratification

Abstract
The study of social stratification is in recent years becoming a notable and important subject in modern sociology,but the influence of education on promoting the social stratification has not been paid attention to.From the viewpoint of theoretical and empirical analyses, the author points out that with the development of modern social transition, the higher education will play more important roles in social stratification, and puts forward to some proposals to accelerate the social stratification in China.
