Abstract
The Princess Marriage System was established in the Period of Emperor Daowu in the Northern Wei Dynasty,though princesses had higher social status,they still had no final say in their own marriage.Princess' marriage was closely related to politics,nationality,kinship and irreversibility of marriage.The princess' marriage had a significant impact on themselves and the Northern Wei Dynasty.
