Abstract

Secure multicast is a key issue to be solved that multicast technology can be widely deployed. When group members join or leave dynamically, the main research for secure multicast is how to design an efficient key management scheme. This paper discusses a novel rekeying scheme for secure multicast based on LKH hybrid tree model. The proposed scheme reduces the key storage requirement of the group controller to four.Furthermore, the key update communication induced by member joining/leaving is logarithmic with nm,where n denotes the number of group members, and m is the size of a cluster.
