A New Idea for the Development of Resources-oriented Industry --A Case Study of Shanxi Coal Industry

Shanxi has a great advantage in its coal resources, and the coal industry has become the dominant industry in the province, but it still cannot bring the people to prosperity. This thesis offers a new idea about the development of Shanxi coal industry--Shanxi coal industry clusters. Secondly, the authors analyze its connotation and formation. Thirdly, after a careful study, the authors think Shanxi has some basic factors to form coal industry clusters. But it is far behind the real coal industry clusters. Fourthly, the paper analyzes some factors that have prevented Shanxi coal industry from forming its coal industry clusters spontaneously. At last, we put forward a few strategies concerning the question.
