Abstract
As one of main accidents in coal mines, gas accident is focus to prevent accidents.Among gas accidents, gas explosion, gas asphyxiation, toxic, outburst of coal and gas can cause casualties, destruction of facilities and properties. The number of casualties caused by gas explosion are greatest compared with other gas accidents, which is almost consistent to past statistics. On the basis of gray system theory, the severities of gas accidents are analyzed using gray correlation theory in the paper. The results show that the key to prevent the gas accidents is to prevent gas explosion, gas asphyxiation, toxic, outburst of coal and gas.
