Abstract
Tang Poetry came into being at the beginning of Tang Dynasty,and it experienced its prosperity and development.But at the end of Tang Dynasty it was showing its decline when a new trend of poetry represented by Li Shangyin caught people's attention,making the poetry in this period outstanding with its fancy style.In the article,Li Shangyin's self-image in his chanting poems is discussed.
