Reflections on Social Relief System of Environmental Tort in China

The social relief of environmental tort is defined as that society,government,and nation share the damage liability in order to guarantee the rights of victims when the Infringer cannot completely compensate the damage of environmental tort. The system is controversy and confusion in China currently. The principles of institutional design and the nomological basics were analyzed. Industrial risk sharing system,insurance system of environmental liability,and environmental damages fund system were pointed out as effective ways to improve social relief system of environmental tort in China.
